Tips for viewing PPT files on the iPad
Check out this site for details, but it contains some nice suggestions for showing PPT presentations on the iPad. The suggestion I like the best is to save the PPT as a PDF and then email it to yourself.

This is perfect — and answers the exact question that I’ve just logged on to ask!
Today was my second day of using the iPad cart (the third classroom experience) and we ran into trouble with a Powerpoint presentation that a student had sent to me and which I’d uploaded to Blackboard. Several of the images got squished over the text. I’ll have a play with saving it to video, although I’m not sure how that will allow for flexibility in the timing of transitions.
Meanwhile, I’ll be playing with Keynote this weekend in an attempt to solve the problem another way.
